Telecom Write For Us – Telecommunication is generally referred to as the transmission of various types of technologies using different mediums. Telecom is the short form of telecommunication. The origin of the field is to support humans to communicate over a greater distance which is further than the human voice travel.
Transmission media in telecommunications have evolved through numerous stages of technology. These stages evolve from beacons and other visual signals such as smoke signals, telegraphs, signal flags, and optical heliographs to electrical wires and electromagnetic radiation. The transmission paths are often divided into communication channels, which offer the advantages of multiplexing multiple simultaneous communication sessions. Telecommunications is often comes in practice in the plural form.
Telecom through the Medium Of Channels
The term channel is defined in two ways with different meanings. A channel is a physical medium that carries a signal between the transmitter and the receiver. The other reference to the term “channel” in telecom observes as communication channel. It is a subdivision of a transmission medium that is in used to send multiple streams of information simultaneously.
Another way to divide a communication medium into channels is to assign each sender a recurring time slot and allow each sender to send messages only within its own time slot. This method of dividing the medium into communication channels is called “time division multiplexing” (TDM) and is used in fiber optic communications. Some radio communication systems use TDM within a dedicated FDM channel. Therefore, these systems are a combination of TDM and FDM.
